Neither of those measures offers any decent protection alone, none at all for the normal cloth mask. Just not worth the effort and it unfairly builds people's confidence to the point of being lax with precautions that actually have an effect on transmission likelihood.

Just curious here, but when do you think you'll have a breaking point where you get sick of being indoors?

I think end of next week were going to be seeing a lot more opposition to the SIP orders. Would make it almost a month of little or no income for most people. Everyones gotta have a breaking point eventually.

True but the way the CDC has been wording it (with regards to everyone wearing masks), the point isn't so much about keeping you from getting sick, it's about assuming everyone is carrying the virus and keeping your germs to yourself by wearing a mask. Since these aren't N95 masks they wouldn't really work anyway to prevent inhaling the virus

But yeah if I was really trying to keep from getting it I would only go out in a haz mat suit, but I don't have one so I have to make due lol. Avoid people in stores best I can, only touch what I need to, don't touch my face (which is fucking hard when you're told not to). Best to just only go out if needed

I told em I'd come back if they matched my other works pay.

 

Some people are out a job (some temporarily) yet other places are hiring with slightly more pay than if we didn't have this pandemic.

Makes me wonder why they don't take up said job if they're really struggling financially...

I grew up poor. If I wanted something, I had to work for it.
