    Came with them.

Also has thin Zinc plated shims in the center between leafs and isolation pads on the ends.

I greased the heck out of the bushings and military wrap before I installed them.

Looks like all the springs are well separated now except for the top and the one below it. There is one small area that they are contacting so I'll be driving some wedges in there and packing it with marine grease. And will do the rest of the leafs at the same time with some ACF-50 and grease.
    Don't want a squeeker...

Lol each shock is over 1K.

But it handles great, I'd do it again. Prefer this trucks handling vs a Raptor or Zr2.

Too bad it does not accelerate like either one of them.
But I'm old and have other vehicles for that.

I ordered it raw steel and will never do that again. Powder coat is the only way to go. Painted it properly, even used etching primer and the paint started peeling. Have to POR15 the bitch now. I have high clearance Relentless rear with swingout sitting in my garage.
I'm tempted to get BD but the money they want is crazy. I'm looking for 40inch bar to fit right up top the windscreen and they want US$1300. I know it's quality and the light output is insane but the cost. Me no likey.

POR15 really needs the metal roughed up and etched for it to stick will. Sandblasting is best. But even 120/180 sandpaper will work too.
Plus you have to top coat POR 15 where it gets exposed to sunlight. So if you use the topcoat apply it when the POR15 is still tacky otherwise it peels off too.

Sliders are a maintenance item anyways. Always getting scuffed up.

I have a couple other toys a little higher up on the priority list right now

Interesting enhancement by Icon. The RXT packs I got last year didn't have the plastic side guides, but came with the shims. I opened each pack and installed the Speedway Ford Model-T liners with Fluid Film. No squeaks after a season of wheeling and winter salt. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-3rd-gen-today.399305/page-6391#post-20987148

    Better, standup jetski
Pulled the motor out Shes getting all freshened up with new fuel lines, starter bindex, traction mat, carb clean, new bars and a very good scrub. Probably save a rebuild for next year since its still got 140Psi in both holes

Nice! Those things are a blast!
I was riding one in the ocean in the Caribbean and after about 5 hrs my thighs were roached.
Lol didn't help that I spent the afternoon horseback riding either.

    My legs were on fire,
so I treated it with alcohol.
    151 Rum actually.

Ive seen videos of guys riding them in the oceans and it looks like so much fun, the waves actually setup nice for jumping. Lakes just get choppy but on a nice calm day its power slide city

Gotta learn some more tricks now like nose stabs and wheelies

I heard that spot-that-shall-not-be-named might be open as all construction has been regulated that only a max of 5 people per trade (and only 1 trade per house) is allowed inside a building that in under construction. and a very large likelihood that no one will be there, just watch for security

Might be high-time to give your back end some love over there?

Damn you guys and peer pressure. Made me go out and do a thing.

    Step 1: Get dirty
Step 2: Power wash rocks and big chunks off
Step 3: Equip my children with sponges and soapy water
Step 4: equip my children with a non-turbo hose
Step 5: Dry with a shamois

I sure hope Truckee enjoyed her first bath of 2020.453D5BBF-B0BD-4676-B2F4-891F472FB443.jpg

No mud flaps, and a cool sticker.
I made a stupid post like 30 min ago, as soon as I posted it I realized I'm a dummy and deleted it. Problem solved.

So I'll just distract everyone from my stupidity with my fuse panel relay combo I'm building.

    A2D8FA6E-682B-4618-9D5C-787294752361.jpg

The switch panel is taking slightly longer. I figured id build a bigger setup than i need so i can add stuff later.

[Edit] I'll be building a box for it when i can get back into the shop at work. Right now I'm just building the box and laying wires

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
I had the Princess Auto Spring Compressor. Looked similar to @Windigo 's unit, only the top clamp was different.

As @tacoma16 said, when one of the clamps let go with my hand on top - didn't break anything, but severe bruising/swelling and 5 stitches... I'll never use that thing again.

    @tgelata method way better...

    Well, re-torqued everything this morning.

Measured the thrust angle and it's less than 1/16" different driver to passenger. So I was pleased with that. I had left the Ubolts just finger snug then drove the truck forward in my driveway to "set the rear housing" before a torqued them down.

Havn't packed grease in them yet. (should have bought liners) but did not squeak (yet) during my testing.

Rear end howl (minor) is now completely gone.
No vibes on takeoff, acceleration, highway speed, braking. No wheal hop.
Smoothed out the ride quite a bit. Actually more than I thought it would.
Rear end is even more controlled going around rough corners.
Looks like almost 2" lift (stage 1) will have to measure that later on today.

Now I'll have to play with my rear shock settings to tune things in perfectly, the 8100's are factory set for the Deaver J66 springs which are a touch softer than the Icons so wheel see if that makes a difference.

So in short I'd recommend the RXT's for a Tacoma, for sure.

I wonder how they'd feel with the factory rear shocks. Lol if this quarantine continues for much longer I may be doing that just to keep myself entertained.

Welding the shifter on was a finicky nightmare. welding the rods from her and trying to get them through the little hole (ha) was terrible.
