I contacted a dealer to trade in the Taco on a Jeep.

Dude offered me a whopping $21,500.

for a 2018 TRDOR loaded with extras like tonneau and bigger tires.

    my response:
“Uh. That's kinda WAAAY beyond "fairly low". Like $6500 below market trade in according to NADA and KBB.

I'm thinking you would have to slash $10k off the Jeep for me to pull even.”

He responded by lecturing about vehicles depreciating and how they won’t make money off it.

    my response:
“It has Leather, Tech and Premium packages. Fully loaded with every option plus about $2k in accessories which doesn't include the BFG K02 tires (not that I was expecting a big rerun on those investments).

Also, it's a Tacoma, man. It's like Salma Hayek. It just doesn't age or lose value. I feel it's pretty safe to assume that this vehicle will definitely sell at a profit. Lol

Gonna need you to advocate for me, bud. “

he said they wouldn’t bite on it nor drop the price of the Jeep.

    My response:
“LoL. Except that it's a Tacoma and is easy one of the best reselling vehicles in the planet. Lol

Thanks for checking though. I appreciate your help. Good lick with the business in the next couple months.”

Like I don’t know the value of my vehicle or the value of his.

I would have turned around and walked at $21,500.

Kinda. It was too crappy in January to do mods on my Tacoma so I added those 12v USB plugs in my 2x sofas.

White line is the EMS, except the one off part about the link is it actually can be against other colors not just the blue background as stated.

Our EMS crew was gifted mugs with the star of life and the white line meaning etched into them last year for EMS week. Couldn't find a picture though..

I was talking via online/text. The truck is essentially stock. Only the K02s and TRD Pro grille make it stand out to the common layman person who doesn't know better. Everything else I'm taking off and selling here. Still, though. $6500 below...TRADE-IN value?! It was a ridiculous low ball then add in a stingy price on a Grand Cherokee that will drop ridiculous amounts as soon as I sign the paperwork unlike the Taco.

Before and after of my roof rack without and with BD light bar. Been running it without a light bar for awhile. Just installed the Bar and not sure how I feel about it yet. We’ll see how it goes tonight. 3rd pic is what happens when your voltage is low if anyone experiences it. Changed out gauge of wire and it works like a champ now.

Keep an eye out in the classifies. You’ll either see a non light bar wind deflector someone can use building their own roof rack. Or, to swap out if someone bout the light bar ready version. Or, you’ll see the light bar wind deflector with a new BD light bar.

I'm torn between commenting "why would you sell your Taco" to "please buy the Jeep" because we make the sub-structure behind the dash for a few Jeep lines here in Ontario.

Certainly not a good deal. Wranglers hold value too though.
