Ya, citrus is a great time. Tim, have you replaced the clutch on the 85? My brother was probably going to do that soon on his and I was just wondering if it was very difficult.

 

Any interests in doing the citrus meet on the weekend of Jan 15?

 

instead of, or in addition to the one on the 22nd/23rd?

 

Clutch isn't too bad, expect 3-4 hours though because some of the bolts that connect the engine to the bellhouse are a bitch to get to. After he gets it done you will have to adjust the cable on the clutch pedal. I also had my slave cylinder freeze up on me so I had to go get a new one and that took about 30 minutes by itself.

BTW, I got rid of it and got some extra parts. Let me know if he needs anything.

Jason, I got some 1.5" wheel spacers if you want to run stock wheels and bigger tires. Let me know, I'll give you a good deal.

 

Instead of. I wasn't sure how set everybody was on the 22nd. It doesn't make that much of a difference it's just that I have the Monday after the weekend of the 15th off because of MLK day and others may have that day off to so it will give us a day to clean up.

Sold the 85? What are you going to do for the meets? I'll have an open seat if you want.

Hey guys. Just to give you some updates. I decided i wanted to see how cold it gets up here in the arctic circle so i headed up to the very tip of Norway where it's just below freezing right now and only see about 7hrs of day light each day. So it's going to be fun!!!

Oh ya. It's cold as balls up here. There's a nice layer of snow on the ground in some places.

 

I'm so envious. I haven't seen snow since I was 5. Are you working up there or are you on a break or whatever the technical military term is?

 

No i am just up here working.

 

citrus has high speed stuff too. Some really long roads with nice soft corners

 

very nice, that's what i liked that about ocala. i was able to do 70 through the deep sand with some good sized bumps for 2+ miles at a time. managed to heat up my reserviors pretty good on one section

jason, either weekend works for me, you may have a hard time trying to change the date for everyone though. i'd post up in the actual meet thread asap if you want to suggest a week earlier

Yeah the main road in citrus is pretty smooth and you could get up to a decent clip. I think we were doing like 50 or 60ish on our way out last year.

What lift are you putting on it Ryan? Are you getting rid of the 5100's or doing a lift in the rear?

 

I am keeping the 5100s and putting OME springs and than a leaf pack for the back
