Sucks big time to think that tomorrow would have been opening day for the Dodgers.

 

Just puts off the inevitable disappointment of another year without a Championship.

On a serious note, could be time for some injuries to heal.

one good thing for fans of certain teams (Royals,Tigers,Orioles,etc.) is that they are not actually losing nearly as many games so far that they did last year

The local rag (SF Comical) is posting scores in their Sports Page section, of the games played out in Strat-O-Matic. The Sporting Green, as the section is referred to, is a grand total of two pages during this bullshit Wuhan Flu scare.

I was a huge Strat-O-Matic fan in my 20's. About 6 of us played all the time. I still have my board, and cards, in my storage shed. I must have about ten years of baseball, a few years of football, and one or two seasons of basketball. A few years after I quit playing they came out with a computerized version, I think. Never saw it. I imagine it sped up the game a bit.

 

Prob not but hard to hate on a team that is always handing out wins.

 

We got ours in '10, '12, '14...been trying to give the dodgers a chance, but apparently they don't want it!

 

Hmmm, seems 2017 would've been another LA Dodger World Series title in the bag but some fancy cheating got the work around.

 

All my Dodger fan friends say the same thing. I beg to differ. Houston won two games at home and two games in Los Angeles. Yes they cheated, but no, it didn't win them the WS. It was bad Dodger managing and poor terrible pitching when it was needed in LA.
