    My shit is all stock.
Yes. I get the same number. Measuring the Tacoma tube, I get 3.125"

I'm betting that the OE Tacoma air filter measures 3.0". Don't have one handy to measure.

It was just as I originally suspected. 2.75" @BillDaCat8

The FJ/T4R tube offers approximately a size bump increase of .5" ID overall over stock OE Tacoma airbox applications.

OEM Airbox measures in at ~2.9550"

This is the measurement of the actual diameter of the airflow tube inside the stock airbox. This does not account for material thickness. Just the internal ID.

Taken with calipers? I was just using a tape measure on mine, so there was a lot of room for inaccuracy with my method.

it’s the width of your measuring implement. You’re not reaching the true “bottom” of the MAF tube.

I had a feeling. Okay that makes sense.

Well regardless of the OE size, I do know one thing is for certain. The MRP MAF tube adapter which I ran on my URD intake prior to switching out to the TRD has an ID of 3.25 with an OD of 3.5. I based the TRD intake tube mod off of what I currently had in the modified URD setup and things appear to be running just peachy. Justin I'd be happy to run a log just to see if anything has changed for you as soon as I get my replacement AEM drop in panel filter either tomorrow or Thursday.

With the 2.3 you better have that gasket on good otherwise the internals are going to take a good bite out of it

No problem! I'll have it here in a few days for you. It was a risky move, as I previously PM'ed you about regarding all of it, but ultimately decided to take the plunge after finding out the MRP tube was actually the same ID as the FJ/T4R tube.

The things we do for the state of California.

It causes me to shake my head at times, but I get it. Makes it challenging, that’s for sure!

    My shit is all stock.
I get 3.61-0.269= 3.34" for the FJ tube re-measured with a badder asser tool than the tape measure I used before. :burp:

I suppose I was thinking that having these numbers might help with calibration.

Awesome! It's even larger than I initially anticipated. Evidently the FJ/ T4R tube is plenty suffice for the job in preventing MAF max out for us running out smaller pulleys.
