    Hola Tater. :hattip:
@TacomaDave took a TW sabbatical. I thought I would never meet the man, the myth, the legend. But he came back strong to say the least! Take all the time you need brother. We all will be here keeping the short bus rolling whenever you decide to hop back on. Same stop, same time. Take care, be safe, and wash yo’ hands!

Big Holly. Hey another question. I was just out for an evening stroll, and saw a gaggle full of Turkey Buzzard (100+) some smaller than others, flying and then all landed in a 150’ cedar.. it looks like mating, but unsure.. they come here every year, but never saw that many. Usually like 50 tops. And normally they are mostly gone by now, and only a few hang around. Whats up with that ?:notsure:

Go stand directly under that cedar and look straight up. Tell us what you see.

Geez. I thought I was a lazy, shiftless, smartass drunk. Now I don't know who to believe. You or my therapist.

They don’t nest until June or July. Every Mourning dove nest that I’ve seen looks like the one in your pic. One other thing, they all contained 2 eggs. There is one way to find out what it is. Go back in 2 weeks and see what’s in there.

Shave the shiftless, add smug, and there ain’t no F’n way you ever saw a therapist more than the initial visit.

    A couple things:
    1. They are communal roosters, not obligate but it is a very common behavior for them.
    2. During migration they form "kettles" and migrate in large groups.

My bet is you have a migratory group moving north and northwest using the roost tree(s) as a stopover site.

Some localities do, others dont. Further north populations do.

You're mistaken. I saw a therapist every weekday for a few months. Not professionally. My sister worked for him as a receptionist. She didn't have a car so I drove her.

And I just thought they were birds.
Damn T. Are you Marlin Perkins or Jim Fowler?! Impressed.

I knew I had issues when after I finished talking about myself, the therapist let out a deep sigh and started with "Well then...."
