I read part of your thread about that. The crossbar uses the spare tire space, doesn't it? I have my spare in the original location.
I am sure there are other ways to skin that cat, though.

Yes the cross tube negates placing the spare there. It was a non issue for me but I see where it could be. The greatest difference was noticed with just installing the hangers them selves. Eric at Archive is litterally a wealth of info on setting up what you want and what you need. My desre for bennifits werent geared toward rock crawlng more toward towing off road

So when are you starting your build thread so we can figure out how to build your truck?

I have done some cosmetic stuff to it. Just no lift or armor.

There's nothing wrong with that. There are many small things you can do if you so desire while waiting for the opportunity to progress further. Perhaps the first thing really is figuring out just what YOU want to do with YOUR truck. Mine is built quite differently than alot on here because my desires are different. As much as we tend to BS on here in different threads I know thare are many of us who are willing to help you with whatever we can. There are some good resources on here and in this group of people plenty I would trust to give you an honest accurate answer. All bS aside

Towing off road, huh? I don't do any rock crawling, but I have found myself in a handful of situations that were very challenging. I am lucky that my rockers are still intact.

I haven't had the camper anywhere yet with the Hangers but I can tell ya I picked up a 5 yard load of composted horse manure the other day for the garden and towing it the truck felt much more solid. I need to get up in the mountains on some trails here sometime hell even if just riding arond on the mountain where I go hunting

It made a noticeable difference, huh? Cool. How are the trails where you hunt? Your truck sure looks capable!

Not as rough as they used to be. The landowner has gone in with his tractor and moved a bunch of the rocks out of the way. Some areas I can only really access on foot or the 4wlr. Some is too steep for even the 4wlr. A couple of water crossings , nothing major.

"Noticeable difference" yes. I was skeptical even reading all the feed back and speaking with a couple of members I trust. There is a noticeable difference just in daily driving, all I have been able to do with it really so far, it tightenned the rear of the truck up, took alot of the vibrations i felt on rough roads away, and even handles corners better. I would humbly suggest it at the least warrants looking into

It is certainly nice to have accessible land to hunt or whatever. That can be a really big deal.
I am fortunate that there is BLM and Forest Service land where I live.
