Doing good, yesterday I almost snapped trying to find my 3/8 socket adapter, it was infuriating! If Harbor Freight is still open, I need to go get more tools, yes I deem this essential!

And most importantly, it is: Chris Farley

Ah the great Farley. I don’t watch much comedy but he was funny at times.

Thank you. I know kinda sorta what I want to do. Most of my offroading is going to be in northern KY, so I need to be able to handle mud, ruts and water crossings. @RobP62 gave me what I think is going to be my suspension upgrade with OME 700 coils over 6112's. I'm hoping that gives me enough room to put 33's on. I want a little bit of armor, so I'll probably do an AAL with 6112's in the back, though now I am considering BP-51's after seeing them on @Hobbs' truck last night.

Seeing them on mine wasn't good enough?! But in all honesty, if I did it again, I'd just go Kings. They've been great to be, but the shaft diameter has be a bit worried with the 35's.

Sounds like what you want to do is similar to what I mostly get to do. The 6112’s are supposed to be a very nice upgrade, practical, and you don’t have to worry about having them rebuilt. The BP-51’s are of course a whole higher level. Ther are some good informative videos on YouTube explaining suspension and reviewing them I believe Down Sourh Motorspirts has some good ones. Tire wise perhaps consider a taller skinnier tire like a 255/80/17 or it’s 16” equivalent. You’ll gain clearance yet much less rubbing issues if any at all. That size does great in about any terrain also. For Armor yes an important initial step and will protect your investment. I will suggest SOS Concepts as Eddy makes some really nice stuff and just being in South Carolina you may even be able to go pick up saving on shipping. Just a suggestion. If you want to get out there I’d almost suggest the armor first. Sliders and skids would be first on the list to me. Most of the armor vendors on here make top notch stuff you really can’t go wrong with Demello, Brute Force, Bud Built, etc. there are a couple I don’t care for but will keep my reasons to myself.
You can easily build tour truck to fit your needs on a budget if you are patient. Most of the stuff on mine was purchased second hand and I did the installations all myself saving a bunch of money. Don’t shy away from second hand especially if you trust the source.

I don’t mean for you to get the impression I am in anyway pushing you to do stuff to your truck. Never my intention. Others who know better like @Hobbs , @ovrlndkull , or maybe @JaCado or anybody else hopefully will chime in and correct me if I am mistaken. I wa only trying to let you know there are less expensive yet viable options do when you are ready there ar plenty of things to do. I am also stuck here at hone alone everyday so I tend to ramble lol

Guess it depends where you hunt. And where the deer are. Down at the coast they are babies up in the Mtns and other areas they get big. Buddy of mine took one down that was like an OK, Iowa, ohio deer.

Woah woah woah hold the phone OME springs do not fit 6112s and there isn't a 6112s shock for the rear. So unless you are just misunderstanding something it's not right. BP-51s are meh for the $$$
Also what Chris said about armor obviously I'm a little biased but of all the armor I've had my hands on Bud Built or Brute Force would be the only other 2 I would spend money on. See there I go again being a horrible sales person

Nice setup but as Skip mentioned the ome coils won’t fit but icon or king 14in springs will.

Stating other vendors make quality products does not make a bad sales person. If anything it shows level of humbleness and awareness to othe products. Normally I fully support SOS and will continue to do so if for no other reason than Eddy. In this situation where we are discussing different options with someone we care to get what suits his budget, quality, and needs I can’t stick solely to the products I support out of interest to his satisfaction . It doesn’t mean I’m disloyal to SOS nor are you. It means we are being honest with him which is something you won’t always see. There are a couple weeks f manufacturers I just can’t support but instead of bashing them I’ll just not mention them
