Any thoughts or feedback on Knolly bikes? Specifically the Fugitive/LT. I'm not loving the idea of superboost, but I think there are work arounds available.

They are cool, I looked at one before the Yeti, but the SuperBoost kept me away. Same with Pivot.

Maybe, I just knew I would be replacing the wheels on whatever bike I bought and didnt want to be stuck with superboosts too early. And I'm all for everyone riding 29ers.

    27.5 is dead!!:crapstorm:

Local Facebag group is reporting that our county (Mecklenburg, largest in the state) is closing all park parking lots. So trails will still be open but you have to ride in somehow I guess.

it's comparing apples to oranges from my old bike to new....but I freaking love my 29s...I am honestly worse at choosing lines though because I just float/roll over stuff lol

Right on. I think I’ve talked myself into going with the 12speed XT drivetrain so I’ll be having to redo my wheels anyway. Thus to say SB isn’t a complete scratch.

@Bannerman did buy a whole new wheel setup for your new Shimano drive or just redo the freehub body?

I have I9 hubs and they were the first to have the licence to do the MicroSpline so I just swapped the freehub body.

Word. I’m waiting on the LBS manager to confirm but I think Bontrager has a kit for my peasant wheels.

I almost went oval, but I just can't. I guess I'm engrained in my ways sometimes. I picked up the Wolftooth chainring, round.

Lol, that picture made me laugh way too hard!

That's an awesome setup man. Share some pic of the inside? I might use that pic for the cover of our Strava group if that's cool with you? Time to change it up.

Super cool bikes, but pedal a bit mushy. Lots of sweet bikes in that travel and price range I'd look at over it though. Like the Ripmo AF.

I've been saying this for months. Honestly, it sucks but even our local trails are FLOODED with people now. Closing the parking lots will cut down on traffic significantly, encourage people to drive less and ride more, and still allow some trail access without having to shut it down completely!

Yea, definitely feel free to use it. I'd be honored.

Has anyone purchased from Ronde-Sports on PB? Their pricing is pretty good. Not full-on sketchy good, but good.

    https://www.pinkbike.com/u/ronde-sport/buysell/

$500 for XT 12speed groupset, $316 for mini group.

This is the 'note' at the bottom of all the listing is what has me questioning their legitimacy:
***These are OEM Shimano Parts, Brand new, Never Installed on Bike, Never used in any way, just NOT in retail packaging.***

Interesting disclaimer. If they were illegitimate I would suspect Pinkbike to have kicked them off a long time ago. Paying with Paypal Goods and Services is nearly fool-proof, Paypal tends to always side with the buyer. I wouldn't think too much of it

    not enough.
Whoaa...those hangers are cool! I've been debating how to store my bikes on my garage ceiling. Considered a pulley system...Might be able to utilize these somehow. cool!
