    Good points.

After some additional searching Colorado cyclist and they’re only $10-20 more. So the PB folks really aren’t listing super sketch pricing.

I recently installed this setup. Used to hang some bikes with pulleys (my garage is 12’ tall inside) but I’ve thinned the heard and wanted quicker access to my bikes. Works for me with room for expansion.

I imagine new take-off or build part-outs. Seems like a handful of places do this.

Edit: The more concerning part is the 0 seller history.

How is SLC doing? I have a trip planned with a couple friends to ride out there in June and we are giving ourselves until May 15th to call it.

Coming from New York? No thanks. Just kidding, of course. :) I’d probably just follow the cdc travel guidance and keep an eye on trail closures or parking lot closures too.

Itd be a rough time to be a tourist. Bars and restaurants are closed to sit in dining until Aug 1 I think. Honestly man, Id stay home. Not the answer you wanna hear, but considering all the good riding like Moab etc is closed to non residents right now, Id see of you could reschedule for this fall or next year.

I am surprised they shut down the trails. Here in Rochester the trails and parks are still open as long as you practice social distancing.

They didnt shut down the trails here in SLC but if youre coming to Utah, you arent here for the SLC trails. Moab is basically off limits. St George is open but severely discouraging travel. Park City might be good, but they are sheltered in place right now.

Thanks! The Drifter is an awesome camping platform if you've got the money and patience. The lower build is a work in progress, but I'm really happy with V1. It's been tricky building something versatile enough to handle bike gear, ski gear, and also convenient for camping.

We're hoping to fully test out the setup this summer on a two week bike trip out to the PNW. Hopefully this pandemic has settled down enough by then.

Yeah, the house has a no hassle cancellation and the flights are able to be dealt with. I’m hoping the border opens up again and we can just drive up and do some Quebec laps. I’ll most likely push it off and visit my Utah friends later.

New York is a big state and not all of us live in the city. I have friends I’d be visiting And riding with in SLC. We aren’t planning on flying out there without a solid idea of how things are going over there. SLC doesn’t exactly have the international traffic that the hotspots where this virus is hitting hardest does. Im aware of the CDC recommendations as my wife works in public health and I’m a professional firefighter. I wish I was less aware of the whole situation to be honest.

Gotta say I’m pretty pleased with this 150mm dropper post I got from Jenson.

On the website it’s labeled “Foundation Dropper Post” but when you look it up else where online it’s nowhere to be found. MSRP was $230 but it was on sale for $115 so I figured fuck it why not try it. Reviews say it’s harder to put down than it should be but I don’t think it’s hard to push down at all. We’ll see how long it lasts but as of now this thing seems really solid for the price if you are not looking to break the bank but want a dropper. And i know my seat post collar is backwards, fixed it afterwards.

Also, it was time for some new grips. Decided to throw some color on the bike with some new PNW Loam grips.

I know, I have friends in upstate that keep getting phone calls from friends and family that need a geography lesson. I wish we were all less aware at this point. Come to Colorado Springs on your way out and I’ll give you a tour of my town.

Normally, I'd agree, but this is an odd time. Even though we still aren't LAX or JFK numbers, all the overseas missionaries are being recalled, and number of them are coming up positive after returning from Mexico, the Philippines, etc. If there was ever a time to avoid SLC, this would be it.
