Never ever had a problem and that's after countless high pressure laser washes. With any vinyl application preparation is the key. After washing follow with denatured alcohol and vinyl will stick like glue.

Did you replace the rear shocks? I got a two inch rear block on mine. I am looking into rear shocks to compensate.

On the double cab, the headliner does not come out except through the windshield. I just dropped it and had to work over it. I did raammat on the door skins and frames, and a little CCF behind each door speaker. I'm not an audio kind of guy, I just want it to be quiet in the truck. I will be doing mat, foam and mass loaded vinyl on the floor. Thinking of doing something with the rear wheel wells, too. As I quiet everything else down I can hear the rear tires howling more and more.

They got you to buy it didn't they? Just like they got me to buy the Bed Head Accessory Rail. There is a method to what we may perceive as madness. Selling vehicles is only a part of their bottom line. Selling parts and accessories at a premium is another aspect of their business.
It's all about the money (what I tell my wife) honey.
Realistically I expect to see more omissions of things that most of us would like to have or that were previously supplied as standard equipment. If they can get us to buy it as an add on why include it? For any manufacturer it's smart business, for the consumer it sucks!

Im not sure what would be better, getting to stay home, or knowing your job is the backbone of the country. I think the pride in knowing your needed would be good for me.

Also, today I finished the cover for my amps. Its made of fiberboard thats screwed together. Covered in vinyl that matches what I used for my sub box. I didnt have enough vinyl to cover the whole thing, so I stuck some of that diamond plate rubber step pad stuff I had laying around on the top. I think it turned out pretty good.

I wish I had kept the rail and tie downs from my 2014 that I traded in. Just didn’t realize at the time that my new one didn’t come with one.

Me too. I'm making product that folks in many cases don't need and in many more cases aren't allowed to buy right now for one reason or another.

Can't really blame them. If I sold a truck that everybody loved to customize and make their own I'd make a ton of accessories and sell them at a premium too. Sucks but what can we do?

Just what we're doing. As it is with any commodity you either buy it or go without. All about supply and demand. :notsure:

That said that accessory rail channel is available from other sources. I just found it easier to buy OEM rather than find a source, cut to length, layout, and drill holes to match the existing anchor points in the bed, but it certainly is doable. Just didn't see a cost savings that would match the effort involved in making my own.

Had a buddy many years ago take his F150 in for his first oil change to one of the quick oil change places. They called him after his wife had driven back home and put about 30 to 40 miles on it and told him that they believe the technician forgot to put oil back in the truck. (She didnt notice the oil pressure gauge, not sure if it had a light) Yep, not a drop, at least on the stick. Shocked it didnt seize up but must have had something in it. Needless to say, when he got through with them, he had a new engine. He didnt take shit from anyone.
