My comments were not aimed at you in the least.
I see time and again where folks get stuck on one brand or one product and become closed minded. I have been guilty of it a time or two.
I think it healthy to look at all your options.

Looking at options was why I mentioned other brands. Ones I trusted anyway.

When I had my first Tacoma I had was a 4 cylinder. I wanted skids for it and I literally contacted every vendor at the time asking about skids for a 2.7 because ther is a difference. Most vendors just never responded. A couple like one in Ca and one in DE rudely slmmed the door in my face. Bud built said they would consider it but not sure. Only Pelfreybuilt and SOS were actually happy to help any way they could. I went with Eddy simply, at first, because he was closer and I knew shipping would be less. He not only worked with me, sending me a full set of standard skids I could modify to fit but discounted the price, hitch I never expected, in reciprocation I sent him all the measurements to make adjustments for when others asked for skids. So yes he earned my loyalty through pure customer service where as some others will never get my money.
In everybody’s case though figure out what is best for you personally as you stated. We all don’t have the same uses or desires.

3 of 8 rocklights complete, need extensions to get the rest done! Bought the fancy kit so it’s not just running a normal wire!
