    Hi all,

I'm the owner of a '17 TRD Sport, stock radio with nav, XM, cd, ect. I'm looking to design my own interface for a front/side camera(s), in addition to anytime backup camera. The other day I took out the radio to look at the connections. Right now, I have 2 questions:

After disconnecting the radio, the XM radio button is not visible on the audio select page. It looks like this is a common problem with disconnecting the radio, but I haven't found a solution yet. I tried holding down the volume knob until the radio reset, and also tried removing the radio fuse, turning on then off the ignition, and reinstalling the radio fuse. Nothing has worked yet. I'm just wondering if anyone has found a solution to this yet.

Secondly, I'm looking to buy a 28 and 24 pin extension cable. I don't know the right name for it, but I don't want to cut the factory wire harnesses, so want an extension to hack up and tie into the control interface. I know they're available (the other "anytime backup" and front cams use this connector), but I don't know where to find it. I can solder the wires if have the connectors and pins.

Thanks all for reading. I'm going to try and stay busy during this Covid-19 holiday at home!

Make sure all the plugs for the XM module are plugged in. The XM module is the little box attached to the bottom of the radio, there are a few jumper wires that go from that box to the radio.

Ah, thanks. That was the problem. XM radio works now.

Secondly, if anyone is looking at this thread and also looking for the 28 and 24 pin connectors, I found them at Digikey.

Thx, I was just looking for the 24 pin because the ABC harness I just received does not have the Blue/ Gray wires coming off of their harness.
