You put cam gears on with cams and Gained 4 psi? I thought cam gears are suppose to empty the cylinder more making less boost I would think?

It's moving more airflow, so it's actually creating a restriction if you see boost numbers go up. I have topped out the limits of the 2.5" exhaust with cam gears and a 2.3 pulley officially and the boost pressure rise is an indicator of that.

Either I need to do headers (which legally I can't because they don't exist for 12-15 models which are CARB certified or I need to up the exhaust at or after the Y to a 3" to attempt to try to move some more airflow and bring boost pressure back down to what it was.

Just gears, not the cams themselves.

JBA makes shortie headers that you have to weld your stock cats back on and they have a carb sticker. Not saying it will help your issue. I run them, they definitely gave more low end torque when I installed them.

I’m sure they are much alike....jba and DT shorties. I have DT’s welded to high flow cats and love them.

Can you use mongoose pro to do the programming? Like buy the licensing etc fro HP Tuners and use the Mongoose for the actual programming so you don't have to get their hardware?

Random question, anyone have a list of supported PID's from the 2005-2008 ECU as well as what CAN protocol Toyota use for the Tacoma?
