It’s certainly going to be a learning process getting the bedsides back together. I’m looking forward to it.

They make a tool we used to use for splicing panels. In this case you cut your section out but make the cab side cut 3/4” shorter than where you want the seem to be. When you run the pliers along the edge and keep crimping it leaves a step down so you can flush mount the new panel and stitch the seam. If you haven’t welded sheet metal before I will warn you turn the machime down some and go slow. Spot skip an inch spit skip an inch let it cool if you hear bong it’s too late

Replace the upper trans line today. I did the lower one a while back because it was rotted through and leaking badly. Did a full fluid flush at the same time back then. Should have done both lines at once but needed to be right back on the road. Daily driver problems. Anyway, after the line I dropped the trans pan and changed the filter. With just over 100k I expected it to be dirty in there but it was surprisingly clean. Quick wipe of the magnets which had hardly anything on them and back together.

Spark knock noise on occasional acceleration mostly uphill or from getting on the pedal. It occurs more with warmer temperatures as well. Look up spark knock tsb on here. Print the tsb call Toyota and schedule a appointment and bring the tsb with with you. If your vehicle is from 2012-2014 @?# has not had the latest program installed they will install t for free. It's a simple computer tune.

Bending plastic for my prototype bracket.
I could also show the small sheet metal brake I bought some time ago.

Wow I am extremely appalled at the amount of dirt/dried up mud you fit into that all weather mat... I thought mine was impressive. Awesome quarantine mods!

How do you like the pedal commander so far? Feel like it’s worth the price?
I’ve been thinking about getting one

Haha that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Pulling the interior this week to give it a dealer quality clean

Honestly I snagged one used from a member in Texas for $100 and I have only had it on since Monday. I haven’t felt all the modes out yet but sport + on 4 is so touchy it’s ignorant. I’m possible do drive in highest mode. I like the city +2. If you are going to spend the $250 for a new one or even $325 some places I would just recommend saving more and do a tune with a few other mods. I got it to help with the 34s

I use to have those tires before jumping to 315 coopers. They performed well for me.
