I literally switched Jobs March 1st. I had been with my previous company for 3 years and when I was at Mardi Gras in New Orleans I got an offer I couldn't refuse, and it has been a shit show ever since, as we are deemed essential but nobody knows what is going on and customers don't want to come in but we have to get things done before certain dates/times for warranty purposes. And on April 1st 75% or more of everyone I used to work with got fired/let go, so I left right before everything went off of a cliff. Just glad to be employed at this point. Having no health coverage is sketchy.

I swear there must be some higher power that is trying to convince me that I should never have gotten a bike.

I was out today and was cruising down a busy street in the Southside, went over a bump, and suddenly there was all this racket coming from the rear wheel. The entire fender assembly (eliminator kit hack-job from previous owner) snapped off from the fairing and went crashing around on the rear wheel.
Something interesting happens to me every single time I take this thing out.

I wasn’t a fan of fairings on my bike either. Then I went on the freeway. Fuck that. Even my gauntlet fairing now isn’t enough but I probably won’t get anything bigger

I know the no health insurance thing all too well. Switched jobs just over 3 months ago now and I didn’t get my health insurance until 4/1 due to probationary waiting period for benefits to kick in. Was really hoping I wouldn’t catch the rona in that gap. Luckily all good and now I got coverage again.

My attention span is so bad, I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched a 12 minute YouTube video before I just watched that. That was pretty interesting. I like his seat!

I’d say stay over but don’t have any room unless I find a house by then.
