Front and back (door to front bumper). side to side doesnt have much play from the way it's set up.

Definitely doesnt need cutting. I'm thinking slightly bending. But again, everything looks straight, so I cant figure it out.

I'm no body man, but what makes sense to me is to align the fender to the door (assuming that the door is aligned to the tub) and look for damage that will not allow the fender to align to the grill surround.

Door sits perfect on that side. So I'm moving the fender to align to that. Then trying to move the front end around that. I'm sure I'm missing some bend that's causing it all, I'll find it eventually. I'm just glad it's only off by like 1/2 inch and nothing massive.

I also found a guy that worked as a window repairer for 45 years and has experience with old classic cars. He said he'll take a look about doing my windshield

Actually considered it lol. But the way the rust went through, its not worth it. I'm guessing theres massive rust inside the tank I cant see

If the rust is inside the tank, then you have bigger problems.

But also. When I took apart the original engine, it looks pristine in there. Damn near band new

My guess would be that since the car sat for almost 20 years without getting driven and had an empty tank, the rust made the hole, water from rain and stuff got in

If it's that nice, then why are you replacing it?
