These are rebuilt OEM axles (as you know?). Are you referring to the boots specifically? My CVJ is holding strong.

Got them in sep2014. Replaced on aug2015. I did a lot of freeway driving that year probably 50k.
Back then they didn’t have a website. You had to call them to order the axles. My oem boots both tore up right after my lift. So I decided to “buy once, cry once“. I paid extra for their “high angle red” boot and hoping it’ll last me at least 100k. Well they didn’t last long. I called to see if there’s any warranty. The nice lady told me since these are an off-road product “you probably took them offroad”. So everytime I see someone post cvj this or cvj that I have to ring in.

The day I installed them. It’s about 2.75” lift.

My CVJ are rebuilt OEM axles. That's what the core charge return is for in the ad you posted.

OP don’t send your axles back. Keep them and learn to rebuild them yourself. $75 core plus shipping it back to them is not worth it. You’ll kick yourself in the butt like I did.

I agree, keep your axles and rebuild them if needed.

In theory just as long as original stock OEM, or hopefully longer.

Well said. I look at it this way. It's a part that will always have to be replaced. You can spend $700+ from the dealer or by a set of CVJs for alot less. So far, we are real happy with them.

But you been running them since no issues or you went back to the same axle (OEM) with OEM boots and had no issues the last 4-5 years?

They are axle experts and per what I read may rebuild them with more care and expertise than the originals. I think the debate is the boots, that said you can have them built with new OEM boots, so they are 100% OEM. I know alot of guys that love them. Either you wheel hard and fucked axles is a risk that is acceptable. Or, in my opinion, those that complain about them and dont wheel probably are lifted too much for their setup and alot of the time probably have too much preload on their coilovers.

I currently have an unknown pop when turning, and something shifts. My CVs want to be binding when four-wheel drive is engaged correct?
