Oh I think I forgot the k. Shocktaco. The guy on here. He lives by Pismo. Built his own front LT kit. He is going to build a front bumper same as that "baja bumper" one. I'll get a picture of it. I'm stuck between that one, dmz, and the sdhq one.

Hey jdkeller...wondering how you painted your rims? What is the best way to keep a nice black color on the rims?

 

Rattle can. I think he used rustolium hammered IIRC - it's in this thread or somewhere else in this site.

What's up Tri! Haven't talked to you in a while.

 

Dude you need to come down and wheel with us in Ocotillo wells. We just went to the Mud Caves today and hit up Diablo drop-off. Place is fun. I have seen you wheel so you can make it even in 2wd. There is a thread out there with some pictures.

 

I know. I will come out for the superstition meet. But probably not before then. Last time I was in ocotillo I just aired down and I got anywhere I wanted.

 

Jonathan hows the sale going? Whats the plans now still going 4x4?

 

Still trying for a 4x4. As mentioned in the sale thread I don't have to. But I would like to. Right now I'm just browsing local dealers online looking for used 2009-2010's. If I don't get anything by the end of the year I may see if I can get a deal on a 2011 in january.

Been so busy lately. Going to the baja 1000 to codrive and dealing with classes and work. Been stressing out!

Not just convert but make it a tad better with a manual fj case. It's just something to consider. You love(assuming you do) your truck and put so much work into it and to just trade it in would be a little sad.

 

i agree with that... your gonna loose money as well... and it seems like u are not trying that hard to get 4x4.... otherwise u would have sold all your shit already... keep your truck bro and be proud of it....!!
