And when drilling 3.5 inch holes in 3/16 steel with a milwaukee m12 drill and hole saw i was charging the batteries faster than i was draining them

had to stop only to let the drill cool down because i have that much mechanical sympathy

you wouldnt be drilling with OBA? electric tools are vastly superior to air tools when it comes to stuff like this. But OBA allows air tools if so desired. they take up less space and dont need a battery to worry about. but like i said. id just take my snap on 1/2 electric impact on the trail anyway.

I'm not saying batteries can't die.

They can die, they don't die in a moments notice like you're implying.

If you head out and didn't charge your battery/ies that's your own fault.

No this was to argue the "waiting for batteries to charge" argument before it was made

Then again, based on your hypothetical, you may as well carry onboard air and air tools, AND battery powered tools.

Why? Because what if the trucks electrical go out, and the battery is no good. How will you run accessories to run your onboard air pump?

Can play this game all day.
