You dont need more than a shitty "china" compressor for that

Had one since i could remember that my dad had for filling the trucks tires (he would actually air down when going on sand) and filling the airbags the truck had when hauling water to the ranch

Mine has been attached to my truck for months, and is exposed to the elements every single day.

    No issue.

Out of my 5lb I can refill my tires 5 times from 17psi to 35psi.

I still have some co2 left over but have never tested it until empty.

My friend is going to let me have his 10lb tank once he gets it hydro tested since its passed the 5 year mark.

thats not the issue. ive just seen what happens to a high pressure tank in a car accident if it gets pierced. shit flys like a rocket (truck carrying oxygen tanks got whacked infrom of the dealer one day. the tank literally flew out of the truck and ended up 200 ft away in a field)

You don't leave something like that inside the cab though

    20190731_131632.jpg

Every other pic of my truck is at an angle..but yeah that tank is locked in a bracket against my bed 24/7

    Only removed for fill up.

Doesnt matter if the valve brakes it will end up through the cab

Likely hood of that happening is like none though

Yea the tanks I'll be having probably be at most 200 and that would just make a loud noise not go anywhere I think.

200 is nothing. 2000 psi is a different story. but again they pretty damn safe and have to be fucked up just right to pose a risk
