    I've been watching NVDA try and break resistance for 3 days. All the charts say it should be breaking through but it gets to 265 and just bounces back down. Kinda like my rev limiter when I'm snow wheeling. lol

    That’s why T is one of my biggest holdings, I like boring when it come to stocks. I don’t even watch it, just buy more and collect my dividends.

    Edit: I have heard of people buying (or selling?) covered calls on T. It is so boring, you can make more income that way. I don’t know options so no clue how to do it.

    If I wanted to own a company on the stock market, could I theoretically buy at least 51% of all outstanding shares? Would I need to set up a meeting with the executives before I did so?

    There are a lot of rules to that:

    Section 13(d) of the 1934 Act and Regulation 13Dthereunder require beneficial owners of more than 5% of a class of equity securities of a publicly traded company to file a report with the SEC.

    No. A controlling interest of any company is already going to be owned. By the owner or the controlling executives. No company would allow any big equity firm or random person to just buy a controlling interest in their company

    Could have seen 1000 point jump if they had announced 8 million. I guess I’ll buy low when unemployment gets back under 4% and it tanks the market.

    I'm a geezerboomer at near 62 and I have never seen anything like it. 3 or so short weeks ago I was sweating the shitshack I might retire in. I mean I could retire and be OK, but not luxurious. Now cigars, women and berry bushes are back in the picture, with a bunch of hobbies to boot.
