Some were on the upper side of the P/E range, for example, but most things actually were not truly overvalued. Yes some funds had some crazy premiums, but most solid companies were fairly valued. Another reason I bought like a maniac the last few weeks.

That's kind of how I am looking at it now. Investing today, at 2,800, is no discount. It's almost normal again. I will sit back and save a bit, and see if another opportunity presents itself. I am not talking about timing the market, just maybe getting some savings going for a while. Dividends will always get reinvested though.

That’s where I’m at. If we could just take one more quick drop, let me get the rest of my money invested, and then take the ride back up. I’m on the roller coaster, I’d just like it to go back to the part before the big climb, let me get in a better seat, and then start up again

This "crash" was not even really a crash. Look at a 5 year chart. We are already bouncing back. Not the opportunity of a lifetime or end of the world everyone thought it would be.

I would be surprised if that was all of it though. I think we are going into a pretty deep recession after this.

I think that after the summer if this flairs up again OR if the economy doesn't start back up again like they hope it will it will go back down again. Especially if the airlines mass layoff on october 1st.

There is still a lot of climbing to do, right? Even if you got in now, a lot of companies on my watch list still can make a 230%+ return to pre-virus levels

A lot of the damage is priced in (hence the 30%+ drop). But you're right, the market is forward looking, so if it gets a lot worse the market will react accordingly. I think the drop we had priced in what is happening now, perhaps overshot to the downside. If this goes on for 6 months, goodbye stock market!

The scarieri part for me is if the scaneio was we were in a deep recession with 9+ million still out of work and this market is still climbing. Really that would show this is all a sham.

I think the unemployment numbers will drop almost as fast as they climbed as soon as they free us. I know that's not a popular opinion, but I see the unemployment crisis as very temporary. Sad for those people, don't get me wrong.

I don't think its unpopular. This has never happened before so alot of scenarios could go down, who knows.

Who cares if an opinion is popular anyway!! I'm hopeing all my doom.and gloom the world is ending scenarios are wrong because that would be good for everyone else!! Not talking about people getting the virus, I'm talking economic doom and gloom.

I put disclaimers on my posts like that in this thread now because I got tag-teamed by like 5 people about my views on the virus. I have to make sure I acknowledge that it's an opinion, and that I don't give a shit if anyone disagrees :D

I am a random internet guy, not sure why anyone cared anyways lol

Maybe, but this isn't the pandemic to get us there. Maybe the next one will do it. All I need is ammo if it gets that bad, I will take all of the TP and soup I need from those who hoarded it. Or I will die trying.
