Any chance it would fit in the back seat? My girlfriend and I sleep in the bed so that probably won't work. We were thinking of keeping her in the truck in the backseat with the center window open?

Yes it does, its pretty tight which is a good thing, no need to secure it. It restricts your visibility a little but is still manageable. If you build the platform I posted it fits with a little room to spare. But if you prefer to have your rear floor boards open for storage then that may be irrelevant. I have the size large. They make one that's a touch smaller, the intermediate, and also one larger, the XL but I found for mals the large works best.

Let me know if you'd like a picture of it in the backseat, I can toss it in there so you can see how it fits / how much room there is around it for your gear and other stuff.
How old is she? Our malinois was rescued at close to 2 yrs old and was pushing 30 lbs... he was close to death and has EPI so very difficult for him to gain weight, but we got him up to about 50-55 and he is much happier. Our dutch is 1 yr as of today I believe and she weighs about the same. I expect her to cap out at about 60 or 65.

You are an automatic right? Jumped up to 315s and now my speedometer is about 5mph under. I'll need to fix that eventually. Just checking in with those that have been running 315s for a while now if they have a proven method to fix this. I've seen it for manuals only so far.

I bought an Ultragauge MX monitor. It displays my calibrated correct speed, mpg, trans temps, coolant temps, and just about anything else I could ever want. It’s only $100 and is much cheaper than trying to actually recalibrate your speedo.

Thanks dude! Whenever you get time a picture would be appreciated!

She’s currently almost 10 months and 74lbs. She’s really filling out more now so we just reduced food hahaha

Yeah mine is the same. 5 under or so at 65mph. Was debating on getting a speed calibrator so that way all of my mileage and shit is accurate. But I’ve been thinking of doing the ultra gauge route as well. One day I’ll get around to it lol. I use an app right now to calculate mileage and I’m “averaging” 11.5-12.5 mpg but that’s with the off mileage from the speedo

Thanks gents. I am most concerned about correcting my speedometer for accurate mileage and appropriate service intervals. If anyone knows a speed calibrator for automatics let me know.

Like I said before, my ultragauge gives me every accurate reading on the truck so my gauge cluster is almost useless at this point compared to my ultragauge. I know my trucks true speed by now so I never have to look at the UG. my mileage is spot on perfect. UG will be your cheapest and easiest route. If you’re dead set on spending the money to have the gauges recalibrated, then there’s already a bunch of threads on here about how to go about it. I’m pretty sure the dealership can do it but I’m not 100% sure.

I missed the part that your UG tracks your mileage. Can you program in your current mileage as a starting point? Thanks by the way.

Wel the ultragauge starts at 0, then you add the correction factor and it tells you the mileage to date. You can set it for service intervals or just reset it completely each time you service it

for example, my truck has almost 140k on it. I’ve had the UG for only about 500 miles. My correction factor is 1.081, so my UG says my mileage is 540.1 which is the correct mileage for my tire size. Pretty sure I did that math right...

That Dakota universal speedo fixer should work for you. The only part that's yet to be confirmed is if auto and manual use the same wire for speed input to the cluster. Wouldn't be hard to check by if you take apart your dash and see if the wire color is the same.

Or just get a hypertech because that is conformed to work for you guys.

Better late than never. It does sit a little crooked but not to the point where its unusable. You could easily put something in the bottom of the seat underneath the crate to level it off. But when I do it my dogs dont seem to mind. Also gives you JUST enough room for a 3rd passenger but not by much.

Large, dogs are about 50-60 lbs and have just enough room to turn themselves around and lay down. The I intermediate was too small, the XL would've worked too and give them a little extra room but wouldn't have been able to fit two side by side in the bed.

Good good. I have 2 60 lbs dogs and I want to use crates in the bed instead of them loose in the cab. They just get too worked up.

    Thank you!

Cabelas and bass pro both sell these so if you want to test out the sizes, just bring your dogs to the store and toss em in.
