hmmm... Standard or Elite? I realize the SS aspect and living in the damp PNW, maybe that's not a terrible idea.

Any advice @RedlineTuning? Is there really much of a difference in longevity or quality?

 

Our black PLUS system gas springs are manufactured by the same company that makes gas springs for many OEMs. Our ELITE series gas springs are a marine grade 316L stainless steel, the internals are identical to our PLUS system black gas springs. I tell customers its a personal preference, we have customers that have had our black PLUS system gas springs on their vehicles for over 15 years with no issues.

Ugh, of course, I just bought these the other day without knowing about this discount. Shipped this morning, oh well.

 

Bought the Elite's a few months ago. Rivets though...

 

Understanding that everything is going kinda slower now but as it's been over a week I'd expect them to have shown up by now. Any idea if this is normal for other shipments or is mine and oddball?

 

They're all delayed due to Covid. Mine are with USPS over a week now.

First, we apologize for the slow transit speeds of all the carriers right now. We have over 200 packages that have come to a stop on their way to our customers... USPS just posted warnings about delays that confirmed what we have been seeing for a couple of weeks. Normally it takes 1-3 days for priority mail to deliver anywhere in the U.S. - now it can be about 1-3 weeks. This is 100% related to COVID and the shutdown of our country. Packages are arriving, just very late. Please be patient and continue to monitor it. We do not know how long your particular package will be stuck in the system, but we will not leave you hanging as a customer and we will get a replacement out if the delay is too long (and the replacement will not ship with the same carrier). Again, we apologize for the delays and understand your frustration.

Thanks for keeping us posted! Fortunately, these struts are a luxury and no one is stranded without them. I think we can all stand to be patient waiting for these.

 

Just put my Elite's on. One held it up great until I could get some more rivets (haha my fault) but they're both on now and I love em.

 

Ordered a set of quick fit plus so the black will match the truck. Should be here Friday for weekend install hopefully

Mine were delivered today for anyone curious. 13 days after shipping to VA. They'll be installed tonight after work.

P.S. my tracking showed no updates from the 13th to just now.
