    I went shopping today too. To the grocery store to buy food. Lots of empty shelf space. I would have bought more than I did if they had more. Half way through I accidentally touched my face. :annoyed:

    It's almost impossible not to touch your face. Thats why washing your hands often is so important. I've consciously tried not to to my face but at some point it's "aww shit!" It's a very hard thing not to do!

    Quick Fist mounts. Aluminum flat stock available at Ace hardware and other decent hardware stores. Much cheaper than buying ready made and easy peasy. A couple of drilled holes and the quick fist mounts even come with a template right on the package. Throw in a couple is T-Nuts and a few hex bolts or cap screws and washers and you're rocking this mod.
    Whenever I use any hardware in the bed I go with stainless steel. For a few pennies more it's well worth the extra cost.
    Stainless steel t-nuts usually available on ebay. I'm going to go there now and buy another 4-pack before everyone here rushes there and depletes the supply. :D

    @pochoboy

    This sport was special ordered and the customer didn't take it. Has a ton of goodies on it, plus the dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
    Besides I never had the OR off-road anyway.

    Got me a OEM roof rack today, traded my trim plus $100 for it. Going to get it all cleaned up tonight and put on new double sided tape, I have a bunch of aquarium silicon left over from the last aquarium I built, so I am going to use that to make sure I dont get any leaks. I dont plan to put anything on the rack, but I love the look of having the rack.

    EDIT, I also want to check on the viability of putting lights into the front of the rack like nissan used to do. I would love to have lights up there, but dont want to put a giant ass light bar. Might even look at putting some on the sides too.

    Installed the No Drill Hood Struts from Sokietech. Raises hood a couple more inches than using the prop rod.
    Some additional instructions not listed:
    https://www.sokietech.com
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Stru...ota-Tacoma-N300/223523747075?epid=24036089416
    Install takes about 10 minutes
    You may have to remove the RH plastic cover by air box, to expose the threaded hole for ball stud to mount to. If you do have to do this, remove the rubber hood bumper and slide the plastic cover toward the engine and reverse to re-install. The RH hood bracket goes on passenger side with ball facing outward. The LH hood bracket does the same thing. Make sure to remove the tape on bracket before mounting to hood. Now when installing the struts. The long one goes on the passenger side and the short one goes on drivers side. I took the prop rod out of hood and held hood open with hand and then attached one strut at a time. Done and enjoy.
    Added pics showing the measurement from the fender to end of strut for drivers side. Seems to about 1 1/2 inches. The total hood open is 3 feet from hood latch to hood when opened.
    Another pic added showing stud by air box with no mods done to plastic fender cover.
