I blame society

 

The clerks at the pharmacy are stressed, big time.
The psychiatric hospital I deliver to is almost empty.

Haven't been able to talk to the nurses at the nursing homes lately.
These days I hit the buzzer and one comes to the door and takes the meds.
But they're looking haggard.

 

Morning whatevs! 2 hrs into the day and I'm already upset at the lack of notes of what stage these repairs were left at. Wonderful! Also had one of our new guys send out a rather tall but small chipper on a trailer without being strapped down. Babysitting never ends

 

Being 100% serious here. My inner nostrils are small enough that removing the hair in them helps me not be a mouth-breather.

 

Wife is a nurse, works at Penn State Hershey. Been in contact with several people that have ultimately tested positive. Still goes in everyday, puts herself between the healthy and unhealthy. Many thanks to ALL our health care workers.

 

What do you use to get it out? I use a small electric nose trimmer. I can't stand nose hair.

 

So this is interesting...

Our CEO has been broadcasting weekly all-hands meetings since we all started working remote due to SIP orders.
Most of it is internal updates around COVID-19, and then it's a lot of marketing and such, followed up with fairly lengthy Q&A sessions.

This ~3 minute clip was played at the start of our meeting earlier this week, and it ended up getting posted to youtube.

 

I just reach up and grab as many as I can in my fingers and yank. Occasionally I'll use the trimmer, but that just shortens them, makes them like porcupine quills when I need to blow my nose.

Application involves dipping the head of a q-tip in it, then putting the q-tip in the nostril, and putting pressure with a finger on the outside of the nose. Let it cool/dry, and rip out!

Some people will never comprehend, either because stupid, selfish, or both.
First thing we did as soon as it became known was stop our car pool and drive solo. It ain't that GD complicated.

 

eh, it's actually not that bad.

I however can pluck hairs with tweezers, one by one and it doesn't really bother me.

 

I modified my facial hair to conform to mask wear yesterday.

 

China says " We spread it, you can make it"!!

 

We haven't even reached mid 60's yet here. Rained all afternoon yesterday. Ready for warmer temps!

That has to hurt!!!

 

I'm nervous. Got a conference call with a regulatory agency for one of my projects. My senior just told me they want me to take the lead. Call is in 10 minutes.
