    Installed these today. That cam bolt was no joke. Used a ratcheting strap on a crscent and used a sledgehammer to whack the 17mm on the bolt. Came loose after a few tries. No issues aligning with timing marks and was straight forward. Install took about 3-4 hours with me taking my time.

    Overall impressions after < 10 miles:
    Increased pick up from highway/street speeds, engine definitely runs smoother. Haven't driven enough to really see how it performs through all gears and rpm ranges.

    One odd thing I noticed is increased smell of gas, probably from increased cycle efficiency from each stroke emptying more fully. I believe the ECU will relearn after a few miles and adjust trims.

    Happy with the purchase. Once I pair it with an intake manifold spacer I confidently believe the characteristics of the vehicle will dramatically change. Awesome awesome awesome. Highly recommend.

    No pics of passenger side as I got excited and installed it relatively quickly lol

    Drove ~150 miles yesterday. Started with a full tank. Now at half. So despite driving 80+mph most of the time that’s a notable improvement in mileage from the combination of the upper intake manifold spacer and these gears. Stock engine otherwise but heavy truck on 33’s with 4.10 diffs

    Ha, I know my post wasn’t very scientific at all. I guess a rough projection would be a 2.5MPG improvement but again I also added a home built 18mm UIM spacer and cleaned them whole intake which had a lot of gunk on all the walls from almost 200,000 miles and 13 years of use

    Wow that’s pretty awesome I was just hoping for .5-1 MPGs. I’m getting 15.7-16.2 on 275/80/17, 3:73 and winch and bumper. That’s adjusting the MPGs ( x .2 )for tire size. I hit .8 miles using the Hwy mile markers and the tire calculator says the same.

    I currently get 11mpg in the city and maybe 14 on highway. After mods in the last few months I went from getting 340 miles to the tank to 240. Anything helps but I can tell you right now that after filling up and hitting 70 miles, the needle hasn't even budged from full. Typically my needle will move from full after about 50 miles.

    That's with alot of heavy foot testing, all in all a very good sign.

    Hopefully, the gears come before next weekend. I'm interested to see if power improves. I already get good mpg with my mods. AFE Intake, plenum spacer, Crawford performance eco-block. Although, I will probably remove the eco-block after the gears are installed.
