Trick is on you. They don’t rely on GPS. They also utilize cell tower triangulation.
Your only way out is to turn off your phone, iPad, Garmin/Spot, APRS, et al.

Funny you say that, I was told by someone dirt biking in Rabbit Valley last weekend that they were turned around at the UT border.

The State of Utah has closed all major highways at the borders to any out-of-state traffic that's not passing through. This is new this week and separate from the 4 county SE Utah camping and hotel ban.

 

Not sure that's constitutionally legal.

Don't have to look at Utah, you can find similar here. Polis is allowing Mtn communities to decide if they want Front Range Cooty carriers around. Local police are setting up road blocks and keeping the Rif-Raf out. Polis also stated that you can find "Outdoor Recreation" within 30 mins of your home.

@YamaDirtrider I think posted that JeffCo has closed (and will patrol) all the clear creek trails both outside of Golden and in Golden starting yesterday evening.
