I'm not a fan of the pignose really, but it is unique for sure. My dad had one back in the day.

I’m still torn on manual hubs on the 02 or add. @slander has the transmission relay I need I just have to find time to go pickup to get all the inside stuff done for j shift add. Then it’s wiring the actuator on the diff.

It's a workhorse. I was really worried it was crapping out finally. But it ended up being a bad RCA connector

I had to take out the diaper bin today cause it was full, I accidentally squeezed the trash bag as I closed it and got hit in the face with a huge, nasty, warm waft of baby poop air from 20+ dirty diapers. I think you could probably weaponize that gas

I've got an extra set of manual hubs I can rebuild

Just been too lazy to get them sand blasted otherwise I've got redline grease, gaskets, and o rings ready for them.

    Basically they're extras I'd sell

I have a brand new set as well still wrapped up

My parents are bored quarantined at home, I'll see if my mom wants to walk down memory lane and dig some pics up. I have a pretty neat artifact somewhere in my collection of nostalgic stuff tho. It's one of my dads business cards from when he worked for a Toyota dealer in the 90s. He's standing in front of a red 80 series like mine. I have moved too many times in the last 6 years but I'll try to find that.

    Nice

People still pay good money for them; I had a few sets including the black version.

Keep that thing, new amps can't compare in sheet output

I dunno how he came about the 55 series. I know he didn't get it new, might've been a trade in back in the 80s that he snapped up.

At age 9 thru 13 I had to hose the goop off of cloth diapers before machine washing for all 3 of my younger siblings. Disposable diapers weren't sold yet. Yes, I know, I'm OLD.

It's cool that you also are able to appreciate the high quality things that perhaps your pops did.
Is he a Cruiserhead? Or more just knew they were well made type of thing?

We naively thought we were going to do cloth diapers before she was born, one look a dirty diaper in person and we changed our tune real quick lol. Diapers might be wasteful but luckily they're cheap and it beats having to clean washable ones by hand, you have my sympathy
