1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Fj55s (PIGs) are cool. One of the dudes I wheel with has what he calls an fj50, he shortened a 55 into a 2door. Trucks badass but he takes zero care of it and its constantly broke. I would buy it in a second if he ever wanted to sell it. Theres a build thread on it on ih8mud. User name is gumby.

 

I've always been thrifty, I buy shit that lasts. Even if it costs more initially. That's the only way to get your money out of things you intend to keep. My dad and mom were good about teaching that. He's always had vehicles that made good collateral and weren't hard on the wallet to own. He likes Toyotas and always eyes the pickups and Tacomas but I think the only one built on his scale is a 60/62 series. I'd like to get him one, one day.

 

Washing clothes diapers wasn't as bad as performing janitorial services for adult convalescents. Those diapers are HUGE. THEY DO LEAK and Seniors shit is far worse than babies.

Yea hes an interesting guy!! He used to live by me, then moved back to Michigan. The whole cruiser head crew around here are a bunch of crazy asses.

I watched gumby almost put his fj45 through his garage wall and into his living room when he started it in gear in his garage.

 

Does anyone know where to get these that maybe ships to hawaii?

The one guy I've found on ebay wants 140 bucks just to ship these, almost double the price of em to hawaii lol.

 

Why does that not surprise me?

 

Make any sense or any cheaper to have one of us ship em to ya from the mainland?

Possibly, the way ebay works they only ship to the paypal listed address.

I'm going to look into this possibly, USPS is probably 1/8th the price to slow mail here.

If there wasn't the corona going on, absolutely I need someone to help me do body work lol.

 

But if anyone knows of an online retailer I might be able to work with that would be dope, I messaged the guy asking for USPS shipping and he said no bueno.

 

It might even be the case if one of you guys even BUYS it and I cover I send money for usps shipping + cost of item paypal FF.
