Was it specifically for Tacoma or another bed of similar size? I have the same truck as you and there are several caps around me for sale; some fit a Ranger or S10. Curious of the fitment is universal or specific.

That's because with the AAL and no gear other than spare tire, fridge and small bag of tools is about what they seem to want to support. Once I load up the truck, add two bikes on the bike rack it sits lower.

With what I know now, I'd gone with an Alcan or Deaver leaf spring setup meant for an extra 500-700 lbs. When I upgraded to the OME suspension I had a lightweight, commercial metal shell on there that weighed 150lbs and the setup was good for that without the AAL.

When the Dakar leaf springs (without AAL at the time) were only 3 years old, they kind of supported the Flippac but had some squatting, but the truck drove like shit with all that weight of the Flippac. It would have so much body roll in turns that I had to drive <50 on highway bends to feel comfortable.

I have a set of Dakars with the Icon progressive add-a-leaf on my rig. And with the bed rack, basket, tools, two fuel cans and spare my springs are flat.
If I add my gear then I have to pump up my airbags to carry the weight.

I purchased the OME single add-a-leaf that I plan to add to the whole pack, and I too wished I had gone with Alcan or Deaver at this point.

As much as I’m dying to get back to Moab, running some CO trails with you guys would be my next big west coast adventure. I think I’m gonna have to wait till the babies at least two for that though

As crazy as it may seem, I have this issue as well but i have no clue where the ants come from. They are super small ants and i see them walking along the grill, hood and front fenders of the truck every now and then. I've pulled my carpet out before for a deep cleaning and i was expecting to see them under the carpet but there were none in there. And surprisingly enough, i never see them inside the cab, but i do keep it very clean and trash free in there. Any recommendation on a ant killer spray i could use in the engine bay?

Hurry up with Alcan. The business is for sale and it's questionable if quality will still be there with the transfer.

Go with the Expo if you’re including All Pro. My All Pro Leafs are struggling with the Relentless Fab plate bumper and Leer shell.

I flushed my radiator and power steering fluid with my extra down time. Next I will do the transfer case and put some new spark plugs in.

My truck is far from clean, but that's mostly dirt and mud, I found one little piece of French fries when I pulled the seats. They weren't really under the carpet as were in the wiring. All of the nests I found were in wiring. I haven't seen any in a few days, soap and water on the ones I could see, borax and traps for those last few. I really think it was the water that attracted them inside the cab.

There color seems off, but the description seems right on. They wonder all over the place, totally randomly, and I had multiple nests.

I ordered Alcan springs about a month ago and they'll be getting shipped in the next few days. Mine were built for 350# over stock and 3" lift, cost $700 before shipping. Shipping and u-bolts will probably be another $150 or so

Working on a tube bumper. I've used a chop saw, angle grinder, and welder.
