Shitty tex-mex, maybe. I have two rules about getting Mexican food in the US:
1), if I'm not in one of the four border states, it isn't going to be good.
2) Tex Mex is when you can order in English. Nothing wrong with good Tex-Mex. But authentic Mexican can be amazeballs. Especially traditional Oaxacan or Yucatan.

Depends on the community. Best jaliscienses style I’ve ever had was in Spokane WA. Small mom-and-pop place that grew serving migrant workers who ended up staying in the PNW. Legit, no-shit outstanding Mexican food.

You know what? I don't honestly care what FD he works for as it doesn't look like I'm going to get that answer. I'm sure they are very proud of him

But I will be more than happy to let you all know how a FF is supposed to act. A FF serves their community for the purpose of actually serving their community. Serving the community with care and compassion. Helping to make, what could possibly be the worst day of a persons life, a little more tolerable.

Making sacrifices such as being away from your family for 1/3rd of their life since you go in every third day and work for 24hrs. Missing a lot of milestones from your child / children growing up. But that is one of the sacrifices that you make when you accept the job.

What he has done in here, from what I've read so far, in no way should be a reflection of what an actual FF should act like. I can damn near guarantee that I have the same amount of access to the information he claims to have access to (if not more). But trying to understand what his motivations are in here escapes me? Bragging I suppose?

So take that for what it's worth. He isn't a reflection of the Fire Service as a whole. He isn't a reflection of 99% of the FF's that I've had the honor of calling Brothers and Sisters.
