I wonder if I can still get beer there on other days? That's about 5 minutes from me, and I keep telling myself I'm going to go back again.

If you want, I'll bring some beer from there whenever we finally get to have another Wisconsin Tacomas get together.

Making my final payment on my rig Friday. Good feeling and more play money if we get to ever play.

No joke but the parking lot here is self segregating by color... Literally all the white cars were together at 530am..

Hey bro, just saw this and wanted to offer my opinion.

Based on info from 4 wheeling dudes/adventurers much more experienced than me, any suspension changes should be near the bottom of your mod list. The reason for this is because of what you intend to do with the vehicle overall. Changing the suspension now may be a fine idea, but as you add weight to the vehicle (sliders, skids, front bumper, winch, topper, awnings, racks, camping gear, and other options), you'll most likely need to change it again, especially as your interests develop in what type of off pavement driving you enjoy. This will end up costing you unnecessary time and money for a ride quality/capability change that may not be a true upgrade at all.

Also, being an owner of the ATH bumper you'll be receiving soon, one of the main reasons I chose it is due to its weight - it's about 84 pounds, which is comparable to the stock components overall. Nearly all other available standard rear bumpers exceed 100 pounds and high clearance ones easily reach 200. You won't need to change the suspension to accommodate the bumper. I personally haven't experienced any changes in ride, mpg, wear and tear, etc. with the bumper, as well as the constant weight of the 30lb bed mat and 70lb Diamondback cover on the bed.

    Just my two cents here!

x2. Suspension should be last or you’ll do it multiple times

Actually in this dilemma myself, but deff leaning away from anything huge in suspension unitil the big stuff (namely, front bumper and winch) are on.

Full skids, sliders, and rear bumper (not HC) haven't changed the ride characteristics of the truck in any noticeable way.

    Good thinking here!

My ride has actually improved from stock, as it no longer handles like a pontoon boat. It figures I'd finally get the truck all dialed in and now I can't hardly take it anywhere!

I'm still hoping to get out soon. The only issue is figuring out how to make a trip across the state "essential." Like you said, we're in separate vehicles.

I'm still debating about hitting the T.W.A.T next Saturday. Alone, most likely. :(

I forgot tp mention that the delivery charge would be waived in lieu of 25 squares of TP. 15 if quilted.

Was cleaning out some recent photos and recalled I had snapped this from last week when I filled 10 gallons for like $14 - these numbers still feel so surreal

I'm curious how quickly it will go back up as thing eventually get back to normal, or whatever "normal" is after this pandemic.

I started driving in the mid-late 90's. I seem to recall gas generally being about $1.10-$1.20-ish. Once in awhile it would drop under a buck.
