I'm thinking Hawaii isn't on the FREE 15 YEAR FRAME SWAP LIST

I don’t know but I made it work somehow. I think maybe cause the truck was initially sold in a salted cold weather state and was immediately shipped to Kauai. So the vin was eligible. I bought the truck on Kauai with a rotten frame, brought it to Maui and had Maui Toyota perform the swap.

I bought new in rust state
Had CRC
15 year warranty
16th year FAIL even with Fluid Film.
But I have had to drive through salt water at extremely high tides to get home.

 

All states were eligible for the frame replacement program, the 'cold weather states' just had more criteria the trucks had to meet to qualify (getting coated and inspected prior to the earlier deadline for example)

Of course it's a moot point now since the program is over for all 1st gens as of 2020

 

What's wrong with that jungle gym? Is it stuck trying to leave the playground?
