Ha, don't own a rig that utilizes it, but will keep that in mind.

DEF no matter where you buy it will mess up your Truck. One of the worst things they ever did to engines no matter what kind.

I’m sure it pollutes more than older vehicles without it. Just one of those shady government schemes to appease the climate activists while still being able to make a pretty penny off of it as well

What’s he got? Me and Maner always fighting over which truck manufacturer is superior. I’m all about Kenworth and he likes Peterbilt which is also another elite manufacturer lol

He probably drives a Volvo VNL 780 as that’s what Ashley’s fleet mostly consists of

It don't matter to me one way or another, have seem both of them set up nicely. My brother had one once for a company he drove for, as he was a flat bedder at the time, that thing was setup nicely and was always outrunning almost everything on the road. The last time he drove through Eisenhower tunnel heading west he had 70K load and reached the top of the mountain doing 75, he loved that rig.

Yep my dad has driven both and he says they’re both capable. I prefer the older 1970’s - 1980’s Kenworth trucks especially the K100 cabover rigs with the Detroit engines in them

I have noticed more of the cab overs on the road the past year or so, they all disappeared for a while.

Back then, the DoT had length regulations so instead of shortening trailers and reducing cargo capacity, truck manufacturers shortened the truck itself. I love them but they’re definitely not as comfortable as a conventional sleeper

The money is great but the work is hard. I’ve grown up around trucks and the industry but that doesn’t mean I fully understand it. I’d like to be an owner operator but truck payments, and maintenance are expensive and stressful

They are, I listened to my brother talk about it for years.. The one rig he actually purchased he just sent in the final payment and a SUV lost control on the ice and it made him go off the road,,,it was considered totaled. He never bought another one, just has dealt with what he was given over the years.

I’m leaning towards anything law enforcement or military. Border Patrol, US Customs, Texas Highway Patrol, US Navy, and the US Coast Guard are my plans in that order
