    Yes sir, the main reason why I bought the P900 is to be able to take shots like that without spending tens of thousands of dollars on a lens:D

    Amazing birds. Have them by the hundreds down here. I saw one hauling off a fucking 30" snook one time. It was awesome.

    I follow a dude on YouTube that does amazing work in FL shooting ospreys:




    This was my first time that I can remember seeing one and really targeting them with the camera. By far my new favorite bird. I also shot some perched bald eagles on this same trip and haven't even edited those cause the ospreys are so much cooler.

    Working a lot right now but next time I'm going prepared to shoot them. Dry bag, waders, marsh seat, etc.

    Bald eagles are big, powerful, beautiful birds that are nasty and get most of their food by stealing it, or picking up road kill. I always thought they were a poor choice for our national symbol, but have come to realize it's actually sadly appropriate.
