Spreading info like this without truth checking is just spreading outrage and fear.

Back to the original subject(s) to find out some truthful information:
Are you sure this isn't a misconstrued view of the above where people will receive a notification on their telephones via the Wireless Emergency Alerts system when their phone connects to cell towers based in Utah near the border?

Do you have any sources for this besides word of mouth? I see nothing on JeffCo's site and the only thing on Twitter yesterday from any JeffCo related entity was a fake bomb threat. https://www.jeffco.us/AlertCenter.aspx?CID=25

They did officially close Clear Creek to all recreational activity stating that in the event of a rescue, it would put the emergency workers at risk of exposure.

You're right of course, which is why I qualified it. Ironically, my point was about the negative things that outrage and fear cause.

I have personally witnessed on more than one occasion now, people out of control and raging on people who were not wearing masks. There are countless reports of people assaulting others who were wearing masks earlier in this fiasco.

We have a nation of people now who are hell bent on controlling what other people do (and looking to the government to enforce it for them) while at the same time refusing to accept responsibility for the things that they do.

Patiently waiting for someone to try and choke me for not wearing a mask... jokes on them when I whip it out and tell them squeeze harder :kona:

    Exactly.

115 years ago (during a small Pox pandemic) a Supreme Court case provided precedents that everyone is using now.
"Jacobson instructs that all constitutional rights may be reasonably restricted to combat a public health emergency" https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/197/11

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/10/poli...bson-supreme-court-abortion-rights/index.html

I am sure all of this will be challenged again like it is right now in Texas with them shutting down all abortion clinics. :fistbump:

Glad to hear it. Hopefully you're not working too much and you get to enjoy your rig once in a while :)

Life is good here, weird times aside. We just bought a house in Longmont and we're loving everything about it (mostly because I finally have a proper shop and my truck has its own room now :D). And thanks for the props about the truck! It's a never-ending project, for sure.

I know y'all haven't been dropping the ball on the 8pm howl

We want everyone working on the front lines to be included in this so here is the new updated scream schedule for Denver. Polis has just mandated that everyone (with masks on) do the following at the following times out of a window in your home:

    6:00 AM Scream for firefighters

6:30 AM Scream for fire trucks

    6:45 AM Scream for ambulances

    7:00 AM Scream for paramedics

7:30 AM Give a whoop whoop for juggalos

8:00 AM Blow a kazoo for clowns and celebrities stuck at home

(New) 8:30 AM Blow a blow horn for garbage truck people

9:00 AM Burp loudly for breweries making hand sanitizer

10:00 AM Scream for the salvation of your soul

    11:00 AM Fart for cops

Noon: Scream for everyone who owns a Subaru and can’t drive it to sit in traffic on I70

1:00 PM Clap for elderly people

2:00 PM Bang a spoon on a pot for grocery workers

3:00 PM Sigh super loudly for restaurants going out of business

4:00 PM Cry hysterically for your dwindling savings

5:00 PM Scream and yell that you’re being stabbed for serial killers

6:00 PM Scream for porch pirates who are out of a job

7:00 PM Give a “Ching ching” on your bicycle bell for stolen bikes...oh wait

(New) 7:30 PM Scream for coffee roasters and $10 lattes.

8:00 PM Howl for healthcare workers

8:30 PM Scream that your order is late for restaurants still open for delivery

9:00 PM Scream for toilet paper

9:01-9:59 PM Take a shot of whatever you have on hand every 5 minutes for the bartenders out of work

10:00 PM Shoot a gun into the air for dispensaries

11:00 PM-12:00 AM Just scream incoherently and randomly for overworked teachers who just want some sleep

1:00 AM Everyone stays 6ft from each other and goes to their cars to lay on their horns for 5 minutes for Jared Polis

(New) 1:06 AM Slam your car doors as loud as possible for mail men
