@EatSleepTacos If you change your mind about the adhesive, lmk. I can get it for you and let you borrow one of our cartridge guns for it. The adhesive is black, is extremely strong, dries rock hard, sands and paints easily. It would make the bed look seamless too. Good luck bro

Agreed. I trusted a shop more than I should have. If I had the tools and a bit of skills, I would have done it myself. I'm assuming that a bend that sharp is not going to help my hp. Ha Ha. I should learn how to weld since I have lots of time right now. Any suggestions on a decent starter welder that I can use at home?

Did a second gender neutral shift juice drain/fill a week after the first drain/fill. Then, vacuumed and wiped the inside.

This is exactly how my exhaust is rerouted. Noticed no difference in how the truck behaved. Been that way for almost 2 years and no issues with the transfer case either.

I’ve got a few mods done recently and have photos to upload when I get time, but this is about one I’ve got arriving in the mail today.

I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I figured this being a highly trafficked thread for misdeed would be good. 12vsolutions.com is having a covid-19 sale currently, bringing the already on sale price of their plug-n-play remote start system with long range remotes down to about $285, with free shipping. These had been on sale from $379 to $349 plus shipping, so this is a screaming deal. Easy install too, hoping to find time to get mine in this weekend. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they were considering one.

Yeah they did some nice work. Re-reading it after finding the thread to post I couldn't help but giggle about the fact that the guy doing the bed bob was named Bob.

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...
Well, you are doing the work with your own hands, correct?

I mean not being a hater :crapstorm:, but IMHO, what you are doing is the real deal and to me is way more bad ass... again, not hating, but in the world of “customs” or “customizing” the sky is the limit. IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW DEEP ARE YOUR POCKETS $$$.

Not taking ANYTHING away from that 3rd GEN, awesome rig.

In my opinion is NOT comparing apples to apples.

I think you are doing awesome for what I seen. Again, YOU are doing the “bob”, right?

I believe that DIY is the essence of the TacomaWorld community - it’s all about the driveway, three shade, mods that so many guys out here come up with.

    Again, just my opinion.

I love the words of encouragement!! That is true there's something to be said about paying a pro vs doing it yourself. Thank you.
