Decided to rearrange my living room for a change of scenery and found this behind my sofa. Guessing it happened after one of our earthquakes last fall but don't know for sure, been awhile since I've moved stuff around

A lot of cracks show up in winter. The lack of humidity in the air can cause these to show up. See what it looks like in the summer. Just a thought.

My Ex In Laws used to live in the Villages AKA TV been there more times than I care to recall. Starting with my Great Grandmother in the 1920's mother side of the family has been retiring between Tampa and Orlando. I will likely break that chain and my sisters will most likely also, one is already in NC the others will follow at some point. I moved to Mn. from Western NC where I had retired to from the Navy 25 years ago.

After the age of 60 don't see a lot men running around compared to women is the first thing I noticed in most all those retirement places. One report on public health that I read said it is for that reason that STD's are higher in many of those places in general. But TV does have a heck of a reputation for leading the pack.

Most have a Golf cart in any of the Fl. retirement places and don't see myself running around in one. TV has the bridges and tunnels with restrictions on UTV's and Fl. in general is not UTV friendly. And a lot of people anymore, even Pensacola and the panhandle. Have been stationed in Orlando, Jax and Pensacola. After having an UTV setup for hunting

    And sporting clays

Just don't see myself in a golf cart and will just stay here. Wait a minute 4-8" of snow predicted here on Sunday....

Thinking Az. is the place to be in winter lots of sporting clays courses, skeet, trap, bunker, etc. And the trifecta of quail Mearns, scaled and Gambel's. Next year. Been saying that for too long now.

Florida does have a lot going for it first thing that comes to mind is seafood and food in general. Which is also kind of lacking here in the middle of the Country LOL.

The side-by-sides are the means of travel out here in the "country side of Florida"

Many of our neighbors run out to Winn Dixie and the little mall for ; hair cuts, cell phone store and even the liquor store with them...just need a a farm triangle or RV tag.... Hell, the kids out here use them to travel to the high school.

You travel even farther east to Lehigh where my boy lives and you will see gun racks , traction pads ( our brown dirt will swallow you- up during wet season) and winches on them..; hog traps get checked every couple a days...:p

I think it has been mentioned BUT our X-Mas parade through the neighborhoods is an array of John Deere green, Kubota Orange and then a mix of the side-by-sides with enough lights to make Disney PROUD

Nice pix out where you are at BUT that word SNOW just makes me :goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

    Awesome pic !!!!

The 6.4 and the following days 7.2 Earthquake here in the High Desert left many stress cracks in the drywall in my place . Most noticeable is the crack in the garage ceiling that runs the entire 22 ft depth

The recession has hit everybody really hard.

My neighbor got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

CEO's are now playing miniature golf.

Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen. Bada Bing!!

A stripper was killed when her audience showered her with rolls of pennies while she danced.

I saw a Mormon with only one wife.

If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them and ask if they meant you or them.

McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer.

Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America.

Parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names.

My cousin had an exorcism but couldn't afford to pay for it, and they re-possessed her!

A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico.

A picture is now only worth 200 words.

When Bill and Hillary travel together, they now have to share a room.

The Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas is now managed by Somali pirates.

    And, finally...

I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan. When I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.
