Nah. These are ones @EatSleepTacos (I think) did. If I do anything on my LCAs it’ll be that.

I just haven’t had a need to do it yet.

Why would the sides need to be protected?

Because, you bound to run it into something if you play in the rocks.

Yeah, that's a guarantee. If you hit a rock though, nothing is going to happen. With that fully welded it makes the arm way more rigid. You'd have really smack the hell out of your arm to actually damage the front aside from just some scratches, and if that happens, you've probably bent some other stuff.

That was my main reason for welding was to make the arms more rigid and stronger, while also creating a smooth bottom to slide over stuff.

why is permanent bad? Permanent is stronger.

the sides are also not a weak point

I'm gonna feel strange the rest of the day but I'm gonna have to agree with @stronghammer. I have beat the hell out of mine and no damage at all. If someone give me a set I would use them. I have scraped the paint off a few times but they still look good.

You couldn’t have said it any better. We’re all going to have different stuff on our trucks and it all just boils down to what we like or don’t like. It’s called customization, making our shit different from everyone else’s.

There’s one or two Inferno Tacos in my area, but this one is mine, and none of them look, or are customized like mine.

I think I’m gonna copycat you and pick up the hood vinyl. My hood glares a good bit when driving right before dusk. Hopeful it will cut down on the hood glare.
