You probably don't. Weather apps and anytime you look up directions to somewhere is accessing your location. It's really only a concern how that app uses that location and for what purpose.

 

Good morning whatevs. Although today has been pretty busy, I don't have a whole lot of projects going on, so I'm gonna start small projects to make life easier. How annoyed would people get if i wired a clap switch next to our large air compressor for the lights? and would it work?

 

So UPS just delivered the toilet paper order that @OneGiraffe made with Office Depot the other day...



While on the phone asking for a replacement, she was told that the item was "discontinued" and a refund would have to be the solution. THEN the Office Depot employee tried to only refund the item price, not the shipping charge!

Eventually she got the full refund, but apparently it's in two separate transactions; one for the item refund, and another for the shipping refund.

 

Only one way to find out. Get a clapper, plug a lamp into it and put it next to the compressor.

 

I'll see if I can talk my way into getting one. Not sure how I can justify it, but I'll figure it out. That or rig a light to turn on everytime our door opens as I'm in the back room and can't see. The options are...actually limited

Dump run complete, took the dogs along. They enjoyed the ride, but were quite disappointed that the customary dog treats weren't handed out at scale house...shit's getting real when it effects my dog's quality of life.

We had our first date on my birthday ten years ago and got married three years ago on the same date. Never really dug my birthday for some reason until meeting Lis!
Woke up to birthday and anniversary texts from friends and colleagues, watched the sunrise from the jacuzzi together and had an amazing breakfast with screwdrivers! Now watching my wife make the most amazing Carrot Cake for later.
Grilling beef tenderloin with homemade jalapeño poppers, squash, a salad and a 23 year old Cab for tonight!

Haven't played that one in a while. I'm better with drawing than with words.

 

Pro tip: If you bring something in, let's say...a dethatcher, that's "broken", I ask "what's wrong with it" and you say "Idk, it's just not dethatching" and make me play a game of 20 fucking questions to figure it out, we're gonna have a bad time.
