That's about where I'm at...I think I got the most pure entertainment enjoyment from Back to the Future Trilogy...but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit yet. This is the hardest one since I joined this thread.

Some folks have ZERO mechanical knowledge...and lack the vocabulary to even speak to a mechanical issue. That doesn't help you, just a statement of fact. That sucks for a guy in your position dealing with the general public, but I'd get used to it...hell Brother, a manual transmission will befuddle and stifle a majority of our population these days.

Oh I know and am fully aware of this. You'd think after 4 years I'd get used to it, but I never do. The person asking the questions was also the person who uses it all the time and the own a landscaping company, so I assumed they could provide me with a little more insight.

Also a gentleman just came in saying the plug on our new trailer blew a fuse in his 06 Tacoma and then it wouldn't let him get out of park. Yay!

People who do something stupid and break the equipment are never going to tell you what they did.

It's not our equipment, it's his. That's what baffles me. You'd think people getting their own things fixed would want me to have as much info as possible

Nope. They know they're paying for it. We put everything in the system. I don't work for free and they know that.

 

Ok. I thought that they were warranty claims. Still, if he accidentally de thatched the sidewalk, don’t expect him to come clean.

 

Very true. Nah, no warranty on this stuff. He bought a piece of our old equipment so I'm very familiar with it. Everything seems fine except the blades are worn and the cable to tension the belt to engage the blades isn't fully releasing, which would explain the worn blades and the definite possibility they ran it over a sidewalk. Not sure why he wouldn't check that, but oh well. Not my problem. Other than that, this day is going as expected.
