That’s easy enough to do. You’ll be cutting the cab mount regardless so if you do a bodylift you have to account for that.

No mud flaps, and a cool sticker.

so like.... maybe take a whole bunch of measurements of the frame, axle location, gas tank placement, and, well all the big things. I'm learning solidworks, and almost finished designing the 4link for my project minitruck.... Heim joints arent that expensive, and I'm pretty sure i heard someone say 2020 is the year of 4 link....

I was picking up some stuff from them a couple years ago (their weld on cable tabs... amazing product) and i was shooting the shit with a manager/owner (dont remember) and he showed me the prototype of these guys https://ca.tmrcustoms.com/collectio...-packages-with-round-pinch-bung-tube-adapters . I want them so badly, but i really cant justify like $2500 in joints for a minitruck that would work fine with rubber bushings. Sploosh... whatever my equivalent is....

Most of the cost is in the machined banjo housing. Switch to a forged housing with snapring retainers and the price drops by half:

    Hmm interesting..
    Thanks for the vid ODSC!

Though seems like with the 3rd gen body panels, as Evengy has showed us, i need to take a grinding wheel/sawz-all to be able to enlarge the wheel well to gain access to the bolts that hold the inner liner and then wait 6 months to entirely remove it.
By using the grinder/Sawz-all, this allows moisture and dirt to get up and into the bolt system and allows it all to rust off for easy removal

Love the cable tabs. Super handy. Yeah shit can add up quick. I’ll be sticking to leafs....just cheaper and good enough. If I decide to do an axle upfront, most likely a 3 link for the drive-ability. Based on my extremely limited Research 4 link fronts are best for slow trail stuff and any highspeed stuff can lead to handling issues. Again there are some front link setups that I’m sure you can bomb speed stuff, but as a newb, I’ll keep it simple lol.

look forward to seeing your build. What are the “specs”?

oh for sure. My problem is I love the machined stuff, im a sucker for fancy expensive over engineered parts. I dont need to 4 link my tacoma, but every time im under it im like "maybe i should just take measurements, just in case...." [Edit] My tacoma is virtually stock, at no point is putting 4 link on it a good idea
