Nope, I've seen fewer cops during all of this than when everything was normal.

there was a time or two in the past decade fuel was 3.50 to $4 per gallon for long periods of time, it may or may not have been the premium blend, my records are not in that GREAT of detail lol. i sometimes switch it up (87 vs 91) when the truck had to sit in the garage for a period of time and did not want the ethanol blend to separate & do funky stuff ... needed the pure stuff to store
the most i paid per gallon was in Minnesota 7-6-2008 ... $59 on 14.57 gal for a $4.04 it hurt and it sucked,
i stayed OUT of Illinois for that whole period because of their cot awful taxes

10-10-2012 i porked $64 ... 3.78 a gallon on 16.93 gallons

its the 'threat' of being arrested for walking your dog by yourself that is borderline 'martial law'
your absolute sense of loss of personal freedom
3 weeks is a long hell of a time!

 

I’ve paid $5/gallon and hit the pump limits... go out west during the summer time or hit small mountain towns..

As you go north from MO gas prices do rise a bit. The area I'm from in Wisco is typically 10 cents more expensive than gas in KC. Their gas hit 99 cents a couple of weeks ago though... bastards.

 

bad thing is cheap gas is really not a good thing tbh lol its nice for us but for those in the oil industry it hurts them lol

 

Not sure exactly what our oil industry is doing, hopefully we're in reserve mode while Saudi and Russia enjoy their lil pissing match

 

who knows i use to make stuff for gas and oil tankers so when gas went down we normally had layoffs

NPR said this morning that because of the lack of worldwide demand due to zombie virus and less traveling that there may be a looming problem with all of the storage reserves filling to capacity and can no longer store excess oil.

just like all of the dairy farmers that have to dump the excess milk earmarked for school lunches, restaurants and all that, right down the drain it goes
