I’m not trying to shove R134A into it, I’m just trying to succ all the R12 that is still in there. I talked to Miguel and it appears R12 connectors were never standard. All car makes had their own type before R134A had universal disconnects.

Turns out since the suction line cap screws onto the 1/4 adapter, that means the service ports are just 1/4 sized and he can use his normal refrigeration hoses.
