    Noticed that bead too. I'm no fabber. Wonder if it's gusseted inside or something? Or does that bead look like it was layed from the outside on the face of spindle?
    Sheesh, I just zoomed in on the pic. You see how perfect those welds appear??? :drool:

    I didn't fab the spindles but I can give you a guess. I think it's a gusset. These spindles are heavy and beefy. If you call Solo Motorsports and talk to Bobby, he'll give you more insight. I don't see anything on their website for you 2nd Gen guys but for you 1st gen guys out there. You can buy JUST the spindle and they'll bolt right into your Taco.

    Goes without saying you got more torque with more HP, unless you're just spinning it harder.

    (RPM * T) / 5252=HP, where RPM is the engine speed, T is the torque, and 5,252 is radians per second
