I think I'll do the same.
Then find some work to do.

 

It’s 4 ft tall I like to stand when on a bench but it’s 5 ft wide 3 ft deep that’s all the room I have to work with. I was not prepared and learning a lot along the way. Had to buy a circular saw and this was my cutting setup. But on a beer break now here’s my current stopping point.

 

So it's time to take a break drink a beer and read when life's not working

 

I suck at life but get by okay, this beer is cold.

 

Yea well I don't think anybody in here is a millionaire yet so we're on the second page

 

I did my first carpentry job making a bench with shelves. Luckily I scored a free table saw off craigslist for a lot of cuts

 

That's what Taco tailgates are for. To cut lumber short enough to fit in the short bed!

That’s hella clean I plan to add to it later out garage is a mess so much junk from the CFO.

ill never have a short bed again.

 

I grew up watching my dad do stuff like this. He built a few lean-to's, did all the finish work in his shed. I just made sure to draw my plan out and make decent cuts. Also I got a kreg pocket hole jog to make it pretty.

Hell, now that I think of it, he built a chicken coop and eventually turned it into the tractor spot.

 

You mean you'll never like a long bed again. One of my first three was a long bed. I disliked it. What it makes room for doesn't make up for a truck that is all centered wrong when you maneuver.

 

Nice not me just turning wrenches is what he did.

If I ever get another Tacoma it’ll be a access cab but I’d like a 3/4 ton reg cab long bed for a new DD and keep this one for fun weekends.

It's gonna transform to a mall crawling clean looking chads pride taco soon I'm gonna cut back on the level 4 and higher stuff just cruise around
