That's in the cards next. We have a 6 lug spindle and a local friend of mine has a truck to test fit on

The only potential issue for that is you'll probably need 18s to run brakes this size. We have a rotor picked out that's slightly smaller that will fit, but we wont know until it's finished, mounted, and tested

I didn’t think it was too hard, considering this was my first attempt with vinyl. The pattern I used, however has texture to it, which made it nearly impossible to squeegee the bubbles out. So, unfortunately it’s not 100% clean, but I’m still happy with it. This is a great activity for being stuck at home with no end in sight. I took my time and it turned out to be a cheap, cathartic mod.

Ok, just going to throw this out there... paint some brown spots on the calipers, make it look like an old banana.

Honestly though it looks like today is break day, currently changing my pads and rotors too and decided to paint the calipers with some spare header paint I found laying around.

Awesome to hear. Thanks! I’m excited to put it to paint. I got both the G8 and G9.

Came home from work (yes I’m a critical essential worker) to find the Coverking covers I order last week got delivered. I came across them on sale from Costco online at $70 off. Took me a little over an hour to install both front and back. Found the passenger front to be a bit harder to install than the rest. Got the black with light gray and they match the interior to a tee.

Thank you. Believe it or not, it was my wife who pushed me to buy them. I guess she got tired of me complaining about the cheap Costco ones I kept having to replace.

My very crude bracket that I mocked up to make sure everything fits the way I want.
I'll test fit it tomorrow and then decide how to make a final version.

I've used it twice so far. The first time I was pulling out a couple posts I put in the ground. I had the cable almost maxed out at 55' and successfully pulled out the post 2' in the ground in concrete. As I was dragging it back to the truck with the winch, my truck started to slide backwards with all four tires on my driveway. The winch barely bogged down. As I looked back, I noticed that my post got hooked on a big oak tree and acted like a hook and my truck was the fish! I was blown away that it started dragging my truck across the concrete.

The second time I was pulling several huge 12' wood posts out of some rubble. The winch never skipped a beat. I did my research on the winch and everyone had the same story. They used them all the time and swore by it. The guy in the store said he sells a lot of them and in all his years working at Harbor Freight, no one has ever brought one back for warranty coverage.

I'm very glad I made the purchase. :)
